all about the trimmings

but how much trim do you get of a plant ?

i know this a dumbass question cus all strains are different and you get differnt yeilds from different methods and so forth

but just generally like ball park figures

and wether there are particular plants that are better for trim and making hashish.

the reason i ask is that i love the bud, but i like good quality hashish even more, like i love the stuff and i figured when i get my grow up and running i would probably use half the bud for hashish. you may think thats a waste but i love the stuff that much.

so whats best for trim

oh and if anyone has made hash straight from bud is it better quality or just a waste

you can grind it up with a coffee grinder and get the kief and make hash

so then you can still smoke the bud :D

If you want to make good hash. Buy some shake. And then look up
"Gumby Hash" on youtube.com. it will show you what you need to do to make
yourself some premium bubblehash

cheers, i checked the gumby hash before, its awesome and 111 gs of hash would be sweet. i guess im more interested in the amount of trim you get from a plant, so that i can know how much hash i can get from making it.

i know about getting keif and shizzle, but i was thinking of just whacking it all in and making bubble hashish, probably with the interchangable bags, with different filters. so i can get a bit of a collection . save the highest 2 or 3 qualities and then mix the rest in to make everyday.

i sorta wanted to start a bit of a whiskey type of collection, but of hashish. i know this mite sound a bit retarded, but i live quite a disciplined life at the moment, out of choice and i think that would be sweet.

anyway any info on trim yeild from plants would be appreciated

It really depends on the size of the plant.
All your sucker leaves would be best for hash.
Fan leaves are okay, since they have a bit of thc on the stem
and around the base of the leaf..
For a full grown plant you should yeild about 1/4-1/2 dry lb of leaf.
If your collecting as you cut them then a little more.
If you check the thread on Cold Water Extraction: Ghetto Style
on the second page there are 3 pictures, taken 15 minutes ago.
I yeilded that from 1/4 lb of dry leaf and bud shake using that method.
Its drying out fully right now since its really fresh..
but that should give you somewhat of an idea
