Flowering Question

Hi All,

I've had the plants under 12/12 now for 6 days, and yet still no real pistils are showing (except one TINY one, on one plant).. is this normal? I've checked for light leaks and there are none.

The growths at the internodes are swelling a little, but thats it!

Apart from that the plants are very healthy.

Can anyone help?

yea, thats normal, depending on strain, you should see something after about 2 wks

One of the strains I grow seems like its not going to do anything, almost like a light leak is preventing it from flowering, but around 2 and a half weeks it just explodes and doesn't stop growing until I kill it. I've grown other strains that showed pre-sex at 3 and a half weeks old, and the buds just took off within days of going under 12/12. Its totally normal.

Well thats all good guys thanks... It feels to me like all the plants are taking a collective deeeeap breath... and then they're gonna go POP! lol...

Am gonna post some pics tomorrow, they look so well!

It would help to know how long they've been vegetating too. Sometimes the plants just aren't ready to flower.

7 weeks Khronik, from seed - 800w MH for veg, now under HPS. Will post pics tomorrow.

Ah. Well in that case they ought to be plenty ready. I take it you're not seeing any preflowers? Anyway, I didn't see enough of a flower to definitively determine my plant's sex until about a week of flowering. And mine were showing preflowers before I started the flowering cycle.

is something stunting the growth?

are the pots big enough?
have you flushed?
switched to the right nutes?

Yeah every strain has a different time it needs to veg to mature before it sexes and than flowers. Some Satvias need 2-3 months and some longer to veg or they just will not flower on 12/12.
