View Full Version : Adding water to sample

I need like some expert advice. I'm subject to random testing (short notice & no time to get a substitute sample). I was able to sneak some warm water in. The sample I gave them was probably 90% water and 10% urine at the most. I take B vitamins, so it was still pretty yellow and it fell in the correct temp. range. What am I likely looking at here? Pass, fail, or retest? From past experience and info from my union if I get to 7 days without hearing anything I'm good. If I do get a call from an MRO what should I tell them? My plan is to tell him that I'm a diabetic, that I take diuretics for high blood pressure, and that I've been drinking 10-12 quarts of water per day because of the high temperatures this summer. Good plan or not? High anxiety here. I don't plan on partaking again until I don't have to worry about testing. Sorry for being so long-winded, but I wanted to cover as many bases as I could at once. FBR, I'd love to hear from you.

Forgot to add that I abstained for 6 days and before that I had been doing a few hits per day for the previous month. I'm 6' tall, weigh 220-230 pounds and was at 245 about 2 months ago.

95% chance you are going to get a dilute. Urine is more dense than water, it has a slightly higher specific gravity than water. If you lie about having a script for diuretics you will get caught because the MRO will verify it. It is hot out there though.

Having a script for diuretics isn't a lie. My Dr. has me on hydrochlorothiazide, plus other high blood pressure drugs. I'm on about 14 different scripts right now. Part of the reason I feel like a total idiot right now. No way I could afford to pay for these without insurance or my job. I'll be letting a lot of people down if I lose my job.

It appears that I'm in the clear. If it turns out otherwise I'll post again. Best wishes to all in the cannabis culture.
