Who here is interested in joining a league comprised of CannCom members? If you are post in this thread. I am willing to run at least one league, maybe two. If the response is huge we can make as many leagues as we want and split the commish duties accordingly.

Do you have a specific service in mind? I think the best ones are the ones that let you set your draft picks ahead of time, in case you can't make it.

Hey bruvva, There are a ton of people on here who would do this. I think P4B and surreysprincess would be in for sure based on this; http://boards.cannabis.com/sports-talk/102298-nfl-draft.html and I know there are alot of others. They probably haven't seen this thread yet though.

Yes it would be a free league but I wish we could have a prize or trophy. Some of my die hard fantasy friends started this legue about 7 years ago. They all got together for the draft and they thought they got ahold of some G-13. I say "they think" because someone told me it is near impossible to get a pure strain of G-13 anymore. So they would call the weed Gina and they named their legue Gina and whatever year. About 4 years ago they made a plaque that has the champions of the Gina league for each year and it has a big pot leaf on the top of the plague and the victor gets to hold onto it till the next year. I mean they take this to an all new level of serious play.

A live draft could be hard considering, classes are starting for me on Wed. and work scheduals, and time zone differences, is there anyway wed be able to pick players out before hand if we cant make the draft?

Someone asked about a live draft and ranking players. Either league I choose it will allow you to pre rank players before a live draft so that if you can't make it to the draft or something weird happens to your computer during your choice (like getting booted at the worst moment) your default choice will be based on your pre rankings. If you don't pre rank and your time limit expires, it will draft the highest ranked player (ranked by the "experts" for either league).

I know it will be hard to do a live draft but I am willing to do whatever necessary to get in a live draft.

I am pushing it because I was trying to get 10 teams. Check back in just a little while and I will nail down the draft time. I also thought about doing an off line draft as we could just post and pick but let me do a few things and I will secure a few time slots and we'll pick one.

If I wa smart I would have taken advantage of this holiday to schedule the draft as many would be off from work. Duh....

After posting that I was going to finalize the draft I had an emergency come up and I have been gone without real access for the last 4 days. I would still like to have our league and to me if we miss week one it wouldn't be huge, stuff happens. If everyone is still a go we can draft this weekend. Let me know and I'm sorry I dropped the ball on it. Next year will be better but there is still plenty of time.
