well its official. Barry Bonds has passed Hank Aaron. I know there is alot of debate against Barry about steroids, and I believe them but u haved to admit. He made and hit 756 and if u ask me he's gonna retire after this season. Well we can bet Alex Rodriguez is goin for 757. If he plays as good as he has he'll have over 800 homers by the time he's done

Barry bonds is a joke... How can anybody believe him when he says he didnt take steroids? Look at him when he played in Pittsburgh, average size guy... now he's doubled in size, his hat size has gone up, and the only way a human head grows in size after reaching adulthood is with HGH (human growth hormone). Thanks for the memories Barry.

At least we can all feel a little better knowing his testicles are probably microscopic by now from all that juice....
WHO'S GOT BIG BALLS!? I'VE GOT BIG BALLS!
I did see in an article the other day that there's a good chance he'll be indited before he ever makes it to the Hall of Fame. I sure as hell hope he does because revenge is best served cold! Haha.
like michael vick, i'll wait until he's completely found guilty of wrong-doing before passing judgement. but with all of the evidence mounting against him, just like vick, his innocence is doubted for good reasons. i personally think they are both guilty. but for the meanwhile, it's cool to be alive and around when bonds broke arguably the most glorious record in sports. but this is nothing in comparison to watching mcgwire and sosa chasing 61.

im happy for him as its a big time record and a great career achievement but although im not stating that he did use steroids as i do not, it is highly likely and it tarnishes the record a great deal

He admitted to doing steroids but I guess people forget that because he said he didn't know what it was, bullshit if someone is sticking a needle in his ass or taking any other supplements he would definitely know.

Q. How many Barry Bonds haters does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
A. Only one, but it has to be a lightbulb on the ceiling. Bonds haters can only screw up.

It is just funny to me how some people can talk shit about Barry Bonds, but then talk of Mark McGwire in good favor. He did steroids too, right? At least, according to Jose Conseco, and he admitted to using androstenedione himself. How many people in MLB have used steroids? How many years did MLB bypass drug testing even when other sports utilized the tests? Exactly how much does steroids improve your SKILL as a baseball player. I've said it before and I'll say it again.........I don't think they do. While they may increase strength, steroids do not increase your skill as an athlete, and no matter how strong you are, you must have the required skill to be successful in professional sports, (I can see an exception perhaps as a NFL Lineman, where the actual strength really comes into play) but especially in baseball. You could be Paul Bunyan, and if you have no hand-eye coordination, you're not going to hit the ball. I have watched/followed Barry Bonds career since he was in Pittsburgh, and he is my favorite player. I do not think the record is tarnished in any way. If he is guilty, you can best believe they are MANY others who are guilty too, he is the one with the target because of his accomplishments.

Well, the chemist who invented 'the clear' says that his tests do show increased bat speed, better hand-eye coordination, faster recovery rates, and more power. Whether all of those things help you play better baseball or not seems pretty obvious - yes. The reason I'd give Bonds more shit than McGwire is: Bonds admitted to a grand jury that he took the clear and the cream 'unknowingly' (yeah, right). McGwire admitted nothing to anyone, except that yes, he was munching on andro, but ando was just an over-the-counter supplement at the time and completely legal. Neither the clear nor the cream were ever legal or sold over-the-counter. In addition, McGwire didn't knock Hammerin' Hank off the top of any ladder, whether you think he cheated or not. Bonds, who admitted to a grand jury that he *did* cheat (albeit 'unknowingly'), did push Aaron off the top of the ladder, which was completely unfair to Aaron, and bad for baseball as well.
