4 of these were vegged indoor under 400watt mh light for more than a month now. I placed 2 plants outside on the 1st of July and I forced flower them on the 14th of July by placing them indoor at night for 12 hours. I'm not too eager to do this everyday but hopefully it will be worth it comes harvest time.

Picture 3 is maui wowie. Nearly one month into flowering.
Picture 4 is hindu kush skunk also nearly one month into flowering.

The other two that are also maui wowie and hindu kush skunk were placed outside on the 14th of July and they are flowering by themselves since the 1st of August.

Picture 5 is a problem I have with both picture 3 and 4. I don't know if it is nutrient burn or if its a ph problem. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Any suggestions at all? C'mon people... I'm about to water them again in a few hours. I really need your expertise here.

Ok, I feed them with floranova bloom nutrients. PPM is 1100 and ph is 6.1.

Does this help at all?

They are in soil?
Your pH is slightly low. Get them up to 6.5-6.8.
A nice flush and then immediately feed with your bloom fert.
That doesn't look bad so far though- just a couple leaves- an easy fix.

I'm using sunshine mix #4 and my hydro shop guy recommended 6.0 and no more than 6.5.

I'm going to flush them right now and up the ph to 6.5 anyways. Thanks for replying stinkyattic.

And the two plants that I always place inside to force flower can no longer fit throw my door so I have no choice but to leave it outside and hope it will continue to flower like the other two that just started flowering on its own 9 days ago. I hope that won't effect my girls since I got them flowering this far. What do you think?

I hate to say but your hydro guy is just plain WRONG. Yay for uninformed retail staff... :wtf:

5.5-6.5 is for HYDRO. 6.5-6.9 is for soil. REally get it up to the upper 6's. 6.5 is so on the edge that if you have acid rain in your area (Like upstate NY, PA, etc= really bad) there's no wiggle room.

I think tht if your other girlies have begun flowering on their own you are reasonably safe leaving the original ones on natural light to finish, especially since I imagine you brin gthem in during normal evening hours, correct?

Burning that begins at the tips is often caused by salt burn... if you are in the southwest and get your water supply from the salt river like we in az do then u know all about it.

Try flushing out your soil very well for like an hour. Just leave the hose there on a slow drip, make sure the water isnt puddling but being absorbed into the soil.

If you are watering the same amount every time and it isnt running well out of the bottom then the water is reaching the same poing in the pot every time accumulating a salt layer.

Just a theory :O might be somethin else.

Ah yes- Cali water- essnine is right that you should assume salt as a possible problem out your way.

If you can find it... Foxfarm's Bushdoctor Sledgehammer is an excellent product that remedies such problems. It's a soil flush for stuff just like this

I wish I can give him a piece of my mind but I think its best that I don't. Luckily I have you guys to help me out.

I can no longer place them inside everynight because they are too huge and wide. If I keep doing this I'm afraid I might accidently break off some branches. Last night was the first time I have left them outside to flower on their own. I just hope they don't revert back to veg stage.

I bought the maui wowie clone from a caregiver and I grewthe hindu kush skunk from seed. All of them have been topped. I know my hindu kush skunk takes 60 days to flower but I have no idea how long my maui wowie will take... anyone familiar with maui wowie?

I am such a newb for not mentioning that I am using r/o water only. The first 2 are in a 5 gallon pot and 15 minutes ago I flushed them each with more than 2 gallons of water. The other 2 are in a 3 gallon pot and thank goodness they are looking healthy.

Now I have to go water them down with bloom nutrients again but I think I will go lower on my nutes this time. Thanks for all the reply. You guys are great.

OH!!!
If you are not using calmag plus it is the time to start. It will also help buffer your pH.
That changes the WHOLE game!!!!!!! noob! :D

Don't worry about reveg if the others are already flowering.

I'm kind of a noob too. What does reverse osmosis water do for your plants as opposed to regular distilled water :O

I am going to purchase a bottle of calmag later today but I have no idea on how to mix it. Maybe I can get another expertise on this?

essine, I am so newb. All I know is people recommend r/o water over any tap or distilled water. Hopefully stinkyattic will school us on this.

I just bought some cal-mag right now and I'm not sure on how much to add to my water. Do I add it to my water first before I mix it with nutes and how much should I add? The instructions are on the back but I rather get an input from you guys on how to do it.

Anyways, I just took pictures of this minutes ago.

Picture 1 and 2 is both maui wowie. This gal smell so sweet almost like candy that I've been tempted to pluck a good size nug off of her lately but decided to hold back. She is so sticky icky.

Picture 3 and 4 is hindu kush skunk. This gal smell sweet also but has more of a kush smell to it.

Both my maui wowie and Hindu kush skunk has been in flowering for 26 days already. Although the maui wowie looks like it might be done in a couple of week but I'm not too sure of it. Still looking for advice on the length of her flowering period.

I use stuff called Get Down and it is an acid additive for my water.
Normally I collect rain and I never had any problems
but there has been none in So Cal for many many months
and my plants have some yellow leaves. Most likely from using water
from the hose day after day like I have had to.
The guy at my local hydroponics place
told me about this stuff and you only need a little
bit to lower the pH level... I have noticed a little difference so far
but I have just started using it and they are budding now.

but your stuff looks awesome man. Real nice.

Updates.

Its been 3 days now and my girls are looking good. I have lowered their nutrient mix by half strength which is now at 550ppm. I also added a bit of cal-mag to it and they seem to be progressing still. You guys really helped out with some inputs.

So far its been 29 days of flowering and looking good. Yesterday my wife helped me tie some of the maui wowie branches onto a stick because the buds on her are getting extremely fat, heavy and sticky. Yes, it was a very sticky job! :D

Thought I might attract some more of you with some bud shots, so here it is. Enjoy.

Picture 1 is hindu kush skunk (day 29 of flowering).
Picture 2 and 3 is maui wowie(day 29 of flowering).
Picture 4 is my other maui wowie (day 12 of flowering).
Picture 5 is my other hindu kush skunk (day 12 of flowering).
