Yeah, I was reading about it. Me and my hubby are going. Been in the state about 3 months and still haven't been to Seattle. I'm learning all kinds of new things about this state. Finally got my fishing license so i've been doing a lot of wandering in the woods and catching fish. Looooove it!

Welcome to the Evergreen State! Please be sure to tell all your friends how terrible it is here. Now that you are a Washingtonian you have an obligation to mislead people about this state. ;)

hehe, no i understand my friend. washington is incredible. mild temperatures, desert an hour and a half away. THe ocean an hour and a half away. Skiing and mountains an hour and a half away.
Washington is a geographical oddity, everything seems to be an hour and a half away hehe :rastabong:
SO anyways....the idea is we tell everyone how terrible it is here so it doesnt get over crowded. It is a common joke people in Washington hate Californians.....cause they are all moving up here.....so we just tell everyone how lame it is here....hehehehe
Am I the first person to speak to you about this? :S5:

Ooohh I got it! I moved to California from Florida. I was there for 3 years and wanted to hang myself daily. I'm a small town, nature loving girl. CA almost killed me. I'll keep up my end by passing around to Californians just how AWFUL and SCARYYY it is here!!! :)

What part of Wa. did you move to?
There are some wonderful areas to explore.Be careful of the bean patches.:rastasmoke:

I live in Winlock, Lewis County. I'm not worried about the bean patches at all, I'm afraid of the berry patches though! They are big and MEAN! They do make awesome pies... I made 3 pies last week. They are long gone now!

Look out for the black bears they love berry patches.
But then the bears are kind of small here in Washington.

I'm not worried about the wild bears, I'm married to a bear and KNOW how to handle em. I'll just offer to make em a pie if they offer to help me pick. My fingers are sore! Maybe the bears would know where the really fat, juiciest berries are anyway.
