Anyone Chill their Bowls Before Smoking?

running cool water over a hot glass piece can crack it,,
so i couldnt get mine cold and then aply a flame to it

Yeah in the freezer, you put it in for 10 minutes and then its all cold and nice

i dunno, but i'm pretty sure that stress on the glass could easily cause it to crack or shatter

Well if it does crack its not a huge deal. I have several other bowls and a bong and a shitload of papers. Im set.

it wouldnt crack it in ten minutes. you would have to freeze it for like 3 hours to risk any damage, and the only damage id expect if your pipe is thick is just a little glass expansion, which will make it weaker and more likely to break.

No usually. Sometimes I will put ice in my bong..and sometimes ill wake up the next morning after a drunken night and find my herb stashed in the fridge.

Hate it when that happens.

sounds like if u have time to wait around for a bowl to chill u would likey have time to break the bong out and that would mos def get better results for a extended time

I keep my bong in the fridge with water in it, but I take out the slider so it stays at room temperature= less risk of cracking. I paid more for the damn slider than I did for the piece!

my friends keep their bongs that fit in the fridge in there. They have a minifridge that they took the shelves out of.
