I figure because it's natural they can, but I just can't picture the Amish tokin' up...

I know in the past there was a big story on a bust of some amish distributing marijuana.

lol so not only do they smoke it but they sell it too?

you know, kidding aside, im sure they don't really understand why it's illegal, therefor wouldn't think twice about selling it. they thrive off of their own crops, and live off of what they grow. they probably eat what they grow, and sell what they don't eat. to them, weed is probably just another crop.

i want to be Amish.

erb is americas number 1 cash crop.....

the amish are very religious though, almost like Puritan Calvinists.... if dancing is a sin and holding hands before marriage....

i know the bible warns against intoxication

yea i live in a town that has a nearby population of Amish, and in one of our local grocery stores there are security tapes of Amish women stealing deodorant

So Im sure not all of them follow their religion to a T.

I'd smoke if I was Amish, that's for sure. And I'd have an awesome beard.

Nobody who is a member of a religion follows it to a T. Rules were made to be broken.

I went to summer camp with some friends and they live near a still active Amish community and they said that the Amish kids always come to their parties and get drunk and stuff. My friends never told me if their parents knew where they were going but I'm guessing no one knew. I have been to their town (not the Amish one, the town near it where my friends live) and it is tiny, one stop light, one cop, nothing to do, and you got to drive an hour and a half to buy shitty weed (my friends didnt even know what dank was) so maybe they should get their Amish community to put some product in their local drug market.

im sure the amish would be able to grow it from a technological standpoint because it can be done naturally, but im sure smoking is against amish teachings, however there may be some lenient communities out there

Well I don't think they sell, I just think that they probably deal pretty hardcore. I can't wait for the day when we find out that they do sell and grow and are some pretty gangster mfers.
Oh and the teens might be on Rumspringa which is a period of time where they can experience the outside world and the parents will not do much, if anything to stop them. It is at this point that they may decide whether they want to stay or leave the Amish community and their family.
And I live near a lot of Amish and I am less than 10 minutes from Lancaster county and under an hour from Lancaster.

One time I drove out to PA for service, and on my way back I stopped at one of their large supermarkets for some lunch,
but they didn't accept credit cards! LOL

I notice that the feedback is coming from people who are close to these communities, but not from the community themselves!
I don't think they are allowed to use a computer! LOL

Third generation removed on paternal side. Outsiders are English, regardless. No mustache with beard to protest military service. They are people like everybody else and do the same things we do. The real traditionalists stick to the horse and buggy and no electricity, but some now use cars. Black. And some now use some types of generated electricity and power tools for business and work. Great carpenters and craftsman.

Did u ever notice a lot of people think of the Amish as ignorant, primitive people? I had to do a lame ass project for school on the Amish. They're just people born into a different religion. They have strict ass rules but still pull the same shit.
