I'm about to work at outback steakhouse as a busser, does anyone know if they make good money or there wages?

You mean you're going to be beginning a job there but don't yet know the wages you'll be paid?

*Note to self*: Ask these things during the interview . . .

I'm thinking about getting a job there. I can have the job its pretty much guaranteed. I'm just hesitant about going in without knowing anything about it. Thanx.

Bus-boys generally get paid an hourly wage, and then the servers who get tips are supposed to put them into a communal pot so they're shared by all the staff. I'm not sure if that happens or not. My son's friend has a job at Outback. But he's a waiter. Waiters generally make more than bus-boys. Ask them these things when you do go in. . . .

Thanks Birdgirl! Yea I heard about the shared tips, I just dont know if I like the idea yet that you have to share your tips and I hear your wage is lower than minimum because you get tips every night. So idk

Hmm, I'm assuming minimum wage? Bussing pretty much anywhere can be shitty, your EVERYONE elses bitch that you work with. Sorry to put it so bluntly. The only other person that can take as much heat is the dishwasher. Otherwise it's an easy enough job man.
In my own personal experience, jobs at restaurants tend to be fairly short lived, but then again, that's just my experience.

Go for it man, see how you like it, and if it sucks quit...
