I'm curious to see how people feel about my idea of medicinal marijuana being tax deductable. Looking for different views and ideas to develope and potentially present to the state of ME.
With regard to the current laws, I'm thinking ALL gardening supplies and possibly a portion of electrical costs would be reasonable requests.(especially considering we PAY more taxes than 49 states:wtf:)
PS: This is all just a stoned thought off the top, I've done no research so ANY info. in this matter would be cool!

Good idea with one problem. The medical marijuana issue is ONLY recognized from state to state. The Feds would LOVE to have a "tax deduction" list to go do raids off from.
Have a good one!:s4:

I live in Nevada and they have medical MJ. I'm very suspicious of getting a grow permit. It looks to me to be kinda like registering your guns. If they make guns illegal, then they can come a knocking. I belive my medical condition would warrant a licence, but don't want to be on a list. Anyway the Feds don't seem to be softening their position on Medical MJ. If they legalize it (Feds) then I'll get a permit.

Come on guys, time to stand up! Man woman black white short tall young old athlete parapalegic! Dont forget whos country this is! If an estimated %75 of the country smokes, I just think we could accomplish alot more if we were willing to tough it out.

you should prolly start at A.M.O.P. "alternative medicine outreach program" they'll be able to give you more info than I can.I dont file taxes on my grow,a buddy of mine does tho so I know it's an option.I think its "amop.org" but if not google it.

I'd certainly like to see some background on your 75% of the country smokes figures. Officially, it's around 12-18 % and I believe thats high. You can discount 30% that are Kids and 52% that are against it (here in nevada they voted 52-48 % against it) Show me some polls or some proof. If 75% smoked, it would be legal in every state. BTW what are all those Iraqis smoking in those huge water pipes?
