i wanna put my mother in dirt

i have my mother in a small hydro bubble set up but she has started to drink alot of water lately and is drying out her res so what i want to do is put her in dirt but i dont know the following things


1. pot size to use

2. type of soil mix to use

3. how to get the ph in range for her

4. how to test ph in dirt

5. how often to water her and with how many ppms of ferts

6. i really dont know anything about soil growing

so could someone help me please here is a pic of mother so you can see the size of her relative to what size pot i need

You CAN do it, but it is SUPER stressful to the plant. Better by far to regenerate through clones- take a bunch, put the CLONES in dirt, and pick the most healthy ones to be moms.

I really don't know anything at all about hydro growing, but soil growing as far as i'm aware isn't as complicated. I'm not sure going from hydro to soil is a good idea though, its could have lots and lots of implications of the plant I assume.
