Wel my friend owed me 100 dollars and iknow hes going trough a hard time rght now and he offered to just give me these motorcycles rims and tires. He said i could get at least 300 dollars for them if i sell them online or something the thing is how do i find out hwat kind brand and size they are?

I would just look, at the rims and the tires, im sure there will be something there that could help.

main thats why I dont do the borrow or lend game anymore cause when they own it starts shit, but oh well hopfully he can sell em and get you 100 and he can keep 200

the size should be on the tyre like on the wall it should be like raised nad moulded. it should say the make aswell. check that they have tread on them, inthe uk tyres have to have 1mm minimum. ask him what bike they came from. look for signs or wear and balding. you might get the cash you might not, but they might be hasstle to sell. why not give him a few weeks to sell em and get the money then with a bit of interest

Where are you at? I know some folks or a place you might could get rid of them if you're anywhere near Atlanta. Otherwise you might try craigslist, eBay or something like that. If you live near a track, take them up there. If they're almost BRAND new, you might fetch a pretty penny from them. Used and unevenly worn tires will bring down their value significantly. I can find decent tires for about $30. The wheels should still be worth something if they're from a fairly new bike. If they're from an old machine, they're still worth a little; just might be harder to get rid of. All in all, you should be able to get your $100 out of it.

*and yeah, look on the sidewall of the tire for sizes
