lol i hate it when people say scray movie <.< it's been a good while since any movie has scared me...

but i know what you're asking so i'll answer...

most any modern zombie movie (resident evil, dawn of the dead/land of the dead, 28 days later) 1408 is pretty damn good as well... i suppose waking up and being jim carey in 23 could be really frightening so i'll list that as well... the new amittyville horror movie is good too...

actually i take that first statement back... night skies... scared the LIVING SHIT outta me.. i believe in aliens... and it's based on true accounts, and even more so, it's not one or two people can can collaberate those lights in the sky (the stories of the 6 lost teenagers however would be easier to 'fraud') it's an entire fucking city....

- Dead Alive - slapstick gore - fuck Lord of the Rings, this is Peter Jacksons best film
- Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The original - one of the creepiest most tense films ever
- Dawn Of The Dead - the original - I think this is the best Zombie movies ever made
- Jacobs Ladder - very scary when your high -
- Eraser Head - often found in the horror section, watch it baked
Most of these are classics and my all time favs, the rest are new movies I liked
- Huete Tension - gloriously creepy, scary, french slasher
- Behind The Mask, the rise of Lesley Vernon - funny update on the slasher
- May - starts as a coming of age flick then gets fucked up

Fire in the Sky... it's an alien movie made mid-90s, always fucked me up as a kid... caught it on tv the other day for the first time in maybe over a decade. scary-fucking-shit. even the TITLE scares me! Fire in the Sky...

ps, i fucking love scary movies :) i'm usually more inclined towards Zombie movies (for they are my 3rd worst fear) and normally i think Alien movies are hokey, but fuckin Fire in the Sky.. goddammit go fucking rent it lol
