I'm in soil.
Is anyone folair feeding and using co2, or know a good link for some info?
Also I was told that I could use baking soda to make a higher PH solution and vinegar to make a lower solution, is this true?
Thanks for any help

Joe I'm not a soil grower but I'd probably cough up the dough for the ph up. I would think that after awhile you'd get a buildup of salts or something perhaps.....I'm just guessing here. People who really do grow in soil could tell you better I'm sure. I use baking soda myself but I grow hydro so I don't think you can really compare them.....soil builds things up more than hydro does and there are actual dissolved solids in baking soda.....it raises my ppms so SOMETHING is in there.
I'm sure you know not to use the ph up and down for aquariums....too high in salts is the general rule. ;)
Ps....You can use them both in a pinch.....better than having your ph off.
edit: rereading....let me make this clear.....when I say "both" I'm talking about baking soda and vinegar.....NO fish stuff.
