When's the best time to switch to the flowering stage?

it all depends on how big you want the plant to get i usaly start flowering mine when their half the size i want them to be when they are finished

If head room is not a problem then... Plants should show preflowers (http://www.drugs-forum.co.uk/growfaq/1037.htm) within 8 weeks.
