I took a few puffs from a Parliament cigarettes now even though I am not a smoker. So far, I don't think I feel euphoria, I only feel light-headedness now (or maybe I don't feel even that?)
Oh Lord... Drugs... we can't live without them.
By the way, on this forum, we can discuss Parliament cigarettes in this section?

If I ever decide to get addicted to Parliament cigarettes, I don't want to get just an addiction without any gratifications that I want, like euphoria and etc.
There should be good parts to addiction. Otherwise, what's the point of smoking nicotine cigarettes?

With tobacco, the bad far outweighs the good! Read these!

But I just started smoking, and I don't feel yet that dopamine was released in my brain to produce euphoria. Please, dopamine, do your work; shouldn't nicotine influence you to produce euphoria?
Should I take another puff from the cigarette?

Go outside and do something. Sitting around on a cannabis website sure won't make not having sweet smelly Mary Jane any easier.

Well, I have only Parliament cigarettes. I am gonna light up the cigarette again and take one or more puffs from it. Will the fucking dopamine ever release in my brain to produce euphoria?

IMO, Parliaments are near rock bottom in taste. The stuff always made me want to vomit. If you want to make the mistake of smoking, smoke cloves.

Oleg
08-05-2007, 08:19 PM
Cloves? I don't know what it means.
Blitzed, I am gonna take my chance again yet with another cigarette. I mean, the studies say nicotine releases dopamine in the brain. Maybe some of you don't like the Parliament brand, but it has the nicotine like all other smoking brands. And if something is a drug, it's supposed to act like a drug! I mean, either the nicotine will give me the feeling of euphoria or I'll get addicted to it.

even if you do get an effect, it will be shortlived and in alot of people they get sick...

eventually it will wear away for good, no matter how much you increase 'dosage' it's a horrible habbit and you're hearing this from a 16 year smoker....

doesn't take long for that possible lightheadedness to go away and be replaced by pure addiction...

it's not worth it dude, do yourself a favor, take those cigarets, break everyoen of them and put them in the trash...

Ok, still nothing... no euphoria. There are still a lot of cigarettes remaining in the pack. I bought them for $6.75. If I throw them away, that will mean I wasted a lot of money.
Oh boy.. life is so bizarre...
And what if I'll have the same experience on weed?! That will suck A LOT.

Imagine spending that every day for 5 years. 6.75 x 364= 2,457 x 4= 9828 + 6.75(for leap year)= 9834.75

HAPPY SMOKING

Yeah, I am bored. I am 25 years old. I smoked 3 cigarettes today because a drug is a drug, including nicotine. Yeah, I guess it's an experiment in stupidity.

Cigarettes will not make your brain release enough dopamine to get the dopamine high. Just enough to satisfy you temporarily after your addicted. The head rush comes from starving your brain of oxygen. That feeling only comes from your first few cigarettes. You will get used to it and it won't happen anymore after you become a regular smoker. If you're looking for another buzz for substitution or whatever, (I hate to say it but..) go with alcohol. Much more effective and safer than smoking. Just don't drive. If you're looking for one of the slowest and most painful ways to kill yourself, you're doing great! Keep chasing that dopamine high that ain't gonna come. But I beg of you quit while you're ahead. I've been smoking for 12 years now. I get nothing but stained teeth, bad breath, smelly clothes, empty pockets, bronchitis and headaches from it. It all started trying to get that lightheadedness or high from every cigarette.

Yeah, I am going to throw away the cigarettes that remain in the pack.
Let's just hope that if I ever get weed, I will experience more enjoyment.

that lightheadedness is your brain dying. i wouldnt go as far to compare brain damage to lung contamination or anything.

so you've never smoked bud and are hoping that cigarettes will serve as a precursor..? the only reason ANYONE i know that smokes is for social reasons -- some people think it looks cool to hold a lit cigarette when they're 15, and then they're lifelong addicts. i've only heard of a slight buzz, "taking the edge off," and that's only for the first few cigs -- after that, having a smoke is just so that you don't crave a cigarette for a couple hours.

i give you my genuine word that weed will provide more enjoyment.

I smoked my first cig about a month ago and I didn't feel shit. It was a virginia slim that my friend let me have. I was stressed beyond belief and upset over a stupid guy. I was out of mary jane and wanted to smoke and the cigs were the only thing around. I only smoked one and when it was all over I said "Thats what all the hypes about? Psh.. I'd rather smoke a joint."

I won't smoke nicotine cigarettes anymore even for social reasons. "Social reasons" ? Just because people got together, they are supposed to do something different from what they do alone?

After I smoked weed with my friend today, he let me smoke one of his cigarettes and the cigarette didn't seem nasty now. But I am not planning to smoke nicotine cigarettes on social ocassions anyway.

hehe well smoking cigarettes isn't a social activity in the same way that weed is -- it's not like hey wanna go bowling tonight? bring some cigarettes!

i meant, a big reason many younger cigarette smokers (13-20) start is because their friends do it or whatever. the appeal of cigarette smoking MUST be purely aesthetic ("hey that looks cool"), because there are certainly no health benefits and very few feel-good benefits. smoking does look kind of cool, and being cool is something so many teens strive to be.

but enough about that, was this time around with mary jane more enjoyable for you?
