split plant

my mother plant is shaped like a wish bone,having cut the main stem awhile back.it was getting to bushy on top so I thought I'd pull em apart without much force and stick something in the middle.well when I pushed em apart it split down the middle(plant must have been super dry!)I quickly taped it together.
so my question is...well my plant be ok? anything I should do?

you might want to get that tape off there. There is some glue on the tape and you have it right by the fresh wound. If its not toxic to the plant it will be toxic when you smoke it. Use a twist tie or elastic band. If you are lucky the plant will heal. I have done (what I though was) termanal damage to the plant before and lots of times they just keep living.

My split also but it was fine...nothing happened, the pant healed itself and it kept growing

It should if its kept together or it will just scar over

Ahhh yes......the double plant trick. Aint that fun? It probably won't heal back together but the plant should do ok.....now that the stem is split both sides may need extra support it doesn't break more.
