some shit hit the fan and my bitch had to go, shes 4 weeks into flowering (nice and budded) im moving her outside and they're getting about 9 hours of dark and 15 hours of light, will this cause her to turn hermie? is it safer to chop it now and enjoy the pre hermie? i have some others outside from the same condition but flowered for 2 weeks and switched to the 15/9 i think theyre turning into hermies. im worried. WHAT SHOULD I DO???!?!?!?!

I think they'll re-veg.

[all of them already have quite a bit of bud mass on them

I think they'll still re-veg and the flowers will slowly dry up and shrivel.

I agree with this.

would throw it ouside and see how it does its not going to reveg overnight and the buds should continue to develop for atleast a couple of weeks it would atleast be a little closer to being finished if it shows new growth in a couple of weeks harvest it early if it continues to flower let it finish outdoors.
find a place where it gets shade for the first few hours of the morning or evening or both it should increase you dark hours outside and may help prevent reveg.

Indeed. I'd also give it another week/10 days, cut when you see degradation of the flowers is showing signs of setting in.

Are they someplace that you could cover them at night and regulate the hours of light that way?

When you start to notice physical signs on your plant the plant has had problems, tryd to fight them, lost and is now showing physical signs. re-veg stress starts the day you change the lights, this will stop it from growing for about a week or 2, untill the stress stops and it gets used to the new lighting conditions. Well now its going to start growing again, How Veging, cause you have it in veg. and no shade and night are not even close to the same thing.

If you are going out side this is your best bet,

wildfire while shade is not the same as night if youve ever been outside at dusk or dawn you can clearly see that it does extend the dark period by a little such as a hillside or even in a small clearing in the woods if you still not convinced you might try it some time by taking a couple of clones from the same plant and place one outside where its not shaded from sunrise to sunset and place the other where there is shade only during sunrise and sunset and see wich one finishes flowering faster you can add an hour of darkness in the right location.
a plant 4 weeks into flowering is going to be concentrating on bud development and they will continue to develop for awhile after light cycle is changed much like when you switch to 12/12 they continue to veg and stretch for 2-3 weeks before it starts to concentrate on bud development.

we are talking about indoor plants that are not use to the dawn and dusk light. the plants will see this as day time light

it really doesnt matter if its indoor or outdoors at dawn and dusk you really only have twighlight and alot of the period is not bright enough to affect the plants. have seen flowering rooms that were not completly dark and still not affect flowering.

im going to cut her down in a little while. the hairs are about 50% amber 50% white still. i have my others outside to see how they do. she wont be as potent but i hope its still some good smoke considering shes already been flowering for 5 or so weeks. wish me luck.

shade does count somewhat to the dark cycle. plants in a semi shade area will start to flower and mature faster than ones that arent. im glad you got something out of them. the most potent best tasting plant i had this time turned hermi. it yeilded about half of what the other one did.(im not saying hermis are more potent, just this one was) i just continued to pluck off the male parts, at least it wasnt a total waste. i think i will grow out some of the seeds in a secluded area since the plant was really pollinated by a male first and then again by it self later. just for my own curiosity.
