I just went for a walk to get some eggs, and I observed a car sneak through a red light onto an avenue that has a lot of traffic. He had Jersey plates, and I guess he thinks it's safe to break the law in New York. As usual, there's never a cop when this happens.

If that wasn't enough, on my way back, while crossing with the light, some monkey comes out of nowhere and skid-stops about ten feet from me. I went nuts and started yelling, "What the FUCK is wrong with you people?" He drove away fast. There were several people in the car. As I went onto the other side of the street there was a guy, must have been about 350 lbs., walking a big dog, and I said something to him about what had just happened. I was really pissed. He just ignored me and kept walking.

I realized that since I had a bag of a dozen eggs, I could have egged the car that almost hit me. Man, I was pissed.

yea i hate new jersey. moved here 2 years ago and this place is horrible. i cant wait to move out of here.

bad drivers piss me off as well. one of the times i was in manhattan people were such horrible drivers, and they are stupid too. they'll put themselves in positions where they are forced to cause a traffic jam.

people from PA think that people from jersey and new york can't drive. people from ohio think people from PA can't drive. new yorkers and people from jersey think no one can drive.

The guy that almost hit me had New York plates.

These incidents today happened in Brooklyn, but it's going on all over.

There is no reason for most people to take a car in to Manhattan. We have buses and subways for that. Crossing the street isn't that bad, since there's a lot of cops. Driving and parking, though, is another story. What happened to me today would be less likely to happen in Manhattan. Not unheard of, though.
