I live in a cul-de-sac filled with apartments. There's probably about forty one and two bedroom units altogether.
When the moon is at its ugliest phase, people overload our two dumpsters. One dumpster will be flowing out the top, with the lid crammed closed and peoples trash piled on *TOP OF IT* while the other will be half full.
People leave mattresses, tables, desks, next to the dumpsters and they sit there for a month or more before the property manager (a dear old woman thats very nice despite the fact that she's ok'd two crackhead neighbors for me in two years, who where not so promptly evicted) gets rid of them somehow.
Is there some sort of method short of CC cameras to deter this? Would a sign saying "PLEASE KEEP OUR GHETTO CLEAN" make matters worse, besides embarassing the property manager?
We have lots of military and generally transients in our 'hood, but this trash thing bewilders me, because the apartments are actually pretty nice, townhouse style, and most people drive clean new wheels.
Some guy who lives in another building has this crappy s-10 parked directly in front of my apartment, and it moves an average of once a month, the rest of the tine the front passenger tire is apparently flat. Neighbors in my building have apparently inherited forty some odd feet of garden hose that they leave in a pile between me (and another neighbor) and our mailbox, along with some extremely bald tires they are using to adorn their apartment.
I'm tempted to toss their tires, throw the hose somewhere far away or even toss it, and have beater joes rig towed away, THEN put up the sign. And getting my windsheild (which nobody sees anyway) fixed.
Am I being overly pissed over something (that happens over and over) thats relatively minor, or should I just burn everything down and collect on some insurance?
