Cowboys are looking good this year, under new head coach Wade Phillips. He's a defensive-minded coach brought in by owner Jerry Jones, and considering the last seven first round picks were used to acquire defensive players, it doesn't surprise me a bit that Jones took Phillips over an offensive-minded coach like Norv Turner. That's not the only thing that went down during off-season. The Cowboys also acquired veteran quarterback, Brad Johnson to bring some experience to a somewhat struggling position. His role in supporting Tony Romo is limiting considering what he can do on the field. Brad Johnson had a passing percentage of over 60% last season, and he's still looking fresh at training camp. If Romo can't play up to par, then expect Johnson to take the reigns, and he's more than capable of taking us to the playoffs.
