Whats only 3 weeks old, about a foot tall and lives in a nursery??
(nope, it's not an infant):D
Ok my question is how slowly do I re-introduce 2 outdoors, back under a light? They were 1 wk under light then 2 weeks outside now I want to veg them inside for the duration. I also found mites chewed up alot of one plant that was already separated and I dont have ANY pesticides. Is there anything cheap and effective?(household?Organic?) Any input is appreciated, I'm still very new and inexperienced. (also couldnt find a thread on this)

Place plants under flourescent light.
Turn light on.
:D
Go 24h- the chances of being able to mimic their previous lighting conditions are slim (early/late day shade plays into that).
Pesticides? Go to walmart. Get at least one bottle of GardenSafe fruit and vegetable insect spray. The active ingredient is pyrethrin- very safe. Quarantine your plants in a different spot than where thye will ultimately reside for a week whil you treat them for bugs. The bathroom, under flouros, is good for this.

Ooooooh, I see now! So I've got to actually turn the light ON? I thought that by plugging it into the wall, it would transfer the wattage into invisible plant light. Boy, am I glad you pointed that out before it was too late!
:D
I just didnt wanna stress my plant by goin right to 24...just because I'm supa-cool and wickid smaht dont mean I know JACK about growin'!

PS: Guess who's got a bun or two in the oven!

Wickid smaht.
Just seriously, straight to 24.

I like the instructions on the inside of the washing machine for troubleshooting simple problems:

Problem: Unit does not turn on.
Possible solution: Check to see that unit is plugged in and connected to water source.

LOL:D
I wonder how many times the Maytag man has had to plug something in for someone? I know it's happened here twice!;)

...so what you're saying is 1 hr of light per year of age? What the hell am I supposed to do when I turn 25?????

Well by the time you turn 25, with any luck humans will have managed to colonize other planets in different solar systems with possibly even multiple moons that reflect enough light to effectively give an uninterrupted 'light' cycle.
After all, we DO inhabit the unfashionable end of the left spiral arm of the Milky Way galaxy... no wonder our small, unregarded yellow star only gives us a meagre 24 hours of light per day! :D

Yes but see my theory is this; securely fasten multiple jet engines to anchors deep in the earth, and let them burn continuously in the eastern direction, off of alternative fuels.
That way, we could pull an extra hour of light per day, and still have an earth to grow on!!!

PS:water is most commonly distributed intravenously through through the top of the plant(usually w 1 tsp.ajax for flavor)

Actually how about building a tall boom that extends outside the Earth's atmospheric layer and strapping Ann Coulter to it facing East... We would no longer have to listen to her drivel, and the force of her words would probably be enough to add SOME daylight, that WINDBAG. And it it doesn't work, meh, not like we've lost anything... :D
