View Full Version : Cooling the smoke from a waterfall?

Hey, my friend just showed me a way that supposedly cools the smoke from a waterfall. You know that little tiny bit of water left in the waterfall? You cover both holes then shake this around to sort of "mix" it with the smoke. This supposedly filters and cools the smoke a little. Anyone ever heard/done this? BTW I'm still sort of a newb at this.

Omg I thought I was the only person who did this with waterfalls. I do it everytime I use one. Your friend is right, it does cool the smoke a little and there is always little bits of nasty shit in the water after so its gotta be good.

Alright, I learned a new helpful trick, thanks guys. I also never thought of the wire screen the guy makes in the video by coiling up the wire.

Looks like that copper wire he used as a filter would burn and you would be smoking copper not to good for you. other then that I might try that technique.

I would use something from a cooking utensils since those go under extreme heat such as coffee strainer, tea strainer, ect.

Check underneath the faucets at your house. There is a screen there. I found one the perfect size for my bowl.

I have screens for my pipe, buy they aren't square shaped like the socket thingy. Should I just cut one to fit it?

Then what will you use for your pipe?

Use a big enough nug to block the hole, but make sure it leaves some space for the smoke to go through. That's what I would do.

In that case, go ahead and cut a screen. I've fucked up many doing that, let's hope you don't. :thumbsup:
