Burnt cannabutter question

k me and my freind where going to make weed butter and we put the weed and everything in the pot and cooked it but we got distracted and it burnt. So my question is can i smoke whats left which is black, it was at the bottem of the pot?:stoned:

i personally wouldnt do it, just go get some fresh bud, but i dont see any reason why u cant smoke it but the real question is why?
