I received yet another apologetic email from everyonedoesit.com informing me that the manufacturer has dropped the ball again and it doesn't look like they will be receiving in the Gravity Vortex this week either.

Is there another item that we could switch to of similar or slightly higher value, as the Vortex is now not looking good for this week. Our supplier is getting messed about a bit by the manufacturers, and that obviously passes onto us and ultimately yourself. I have already instructed our accounts department to refund you your shipping fees to compensate a little for the delay.

Let me know if there's something else we could get shipped out to you as an alternative gift.

I said wow at them refunding my shipping fees..thats $50!
Should I keep waiting or just switch to another item? I really want a vortex, but it's looking like I won't be getting one for a long time.. I've only ever owned a small glass spoon pipe should I perhaps go with a bubbler or a regular bong instead? The Vortex is $104 so that's how much credit I have with them at the moment.

I would get a nice glass RooR, I'm pretty sure you can for around $100

I hear people mention RooR brand a lot, is there something special about them?

essentially, theyre the gucci of bongs. they stay current with all the recent bong trends (percs, glass on glass, diffusers) they have a bunch of customisable "roor acessories"(new/different downstems, ashcatchers, carbon filters). and at they same time theyre sleek well made and incredibly attractive...to some.

although look up things like the difference between grommet bongs and Glass on glass, and youll quickly understand why a roor will hit better than youre average glass bong.

if you can get a roor, id do it, itll hit alot better than a vortex, and taste a bunch cleaner, and probably last longer, if you take good care of it!

How good of quality are Festival brand bongs?

festival glass, or soft glass as it is sometimes known is a lower quality type of glass, as compared to the borosilicate glass that name brand bongs like roor, toro, and gspot are made out of. I wouldnt reccomend it except for small inexpensive bongs, as it is quite heavy, not as strong, and the glass has inherant stress in it from not being tempered in a kiln after the blowing proscess.

I'd get a GSPOT bong, (I have one) their pretty dope, and they have glass that is VERY thick.

Well I placed an replacement order for a few things whenever they get shipped out and get here I will take pictures of them and post them up. I ordered a Bong, Bubbler and a generic grinder.

Check this out though:

Hi,

I have the other bubbler, the 13, but not the 14 unfortunately. I will send that but I will also include some extra pieces for you which I hope will compensate a little for the Vortex.

If you have any further queries please don't hesitate to contact us.
