I live in Missouri and we have a place called camp zoe where music festivals are held.. namely Scwagstock(now on its 35th run coming at the end of this month) along with other concerts.. there are usely like 10 to 15,000 people there with three stages of live music floating trips bon fires drum circles and lots of hippies.. nothing but good vibes.. I was wondering about other places like this in other states and how they compare to Zoe preferably neighboring states that i could conviently check out myself.... PEACE.

Yeah, In western New York, we have a Grass Roots Festival down by the Finger Lakes that is a folk/jam/bluegrass festival. There's also something called Mountain Jam put on by Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule. I haven't been to either of those yet....I'm planning on going next season.

I went to Schwagstock 34 and had an absolute blast. There were only 4000 there, so it was a lot more mellow than usual, though I've heard it usually only tops out at 7,000, though Zoe has capacity for 10,000. There are only two stages, not three. Either way, it's a great place to be! :D

I live in Austin Texas and I think we have two of the best festivals handsdown. We have ACL which is one of the biggest music fesivals in the world and...Marley Fest which is one of the biggest WEED music festivals. Imagine thousands of people sitting on blankets in front of a stage smoking weed. They have booths where people are hand blowing pipes in front of you too...And best of all... the security looks away and acts as if they dont see anything.

Austin must be a blast. One day, I want to go there for a couple of weeks just to check out live music. Austin bands have a sound that's irresistible to my ears.

You are so lucky, I consider it the music capital of the world. Every quality band usually gets some sort of approval from the Austin scene before going mainstream. If you can outplay an mediocre Austin band, you must be pretty good.

I finished roo with Wilco-WhiteStripes-Widespread. I was ripped on some mad sative buds and some other magical drugs. My mind was pretty much melted from 7 straight hours of orgasmic music. Damn I love bonnaroo!:D

I went to Lollapalooza in Chicago this year and It was amazing, blazing to daft punk, interpol, modest mouse, spoon, and all the rest was very fun. This was our first time this year and it was actually hard finding bud, cause everyone wants it. This 30 something lady offered us 30$ for a 20 sack we had, we just smoked them down and they were happy.

Did you happened to catch sound tribe sector 9 ?
