Through out the time ive been a member of this forum the same thing has happened to me a couple of times. I will post a thread and then a little bit later realize it has dissapeared. At first I thought that maybe I said something I wasnt supposed to and a mod erased it. Now I think it may be some sort of malfunction. Last night I posted a thread about me dad finding cann.com but not caring. Well now I cant find that thread. I dont think there was anything against the rules in it. So am I doing something wrong or is it just a glitch?

Jizzle, I'm going to have to run for a time and be offline until some guests leave, but I will look into the situation. What inevitably happens is that somehow someone posts something in a thread that starts a descending tangent, breaks a rule with others responding in like fashion or requoting an original problem, or just begins a trend that will cause problems later and the thread itself gets taken down. Try not to worry. It's probably not a system malfunction as much as a preventative measure. I'll look into the specific details more when I'm able to return later this afternoon!

Strange....I just looked through your history and found little in regards to deleted posts/threads. NOTHING at all from last night. I personally have noticed that with some of my posts and then realized that instead of hitting "submit" I hit the "enter" on my keyboard. That, for some reason, puts ya into the forum but doesn't post the thread/post that I wanted. I don't know if that is the case here but maybe something to keep in mind.
Have a good one!

Well I know thats not the case because 2 people responded to it before it vanished. Im thinking we are going to have to call Scooby Doo, Shaggy, and the gang. The Phantom of Cannibas.com is what the episode would be called. Hell maybe it could even be the 3rd Scooby Doo movie.

This may mean the magic fingers of our owner, Sundance, who's the only one around here who can do hard-deletes that make threads disappear entirely. When we mods delete them, they're soft-deleted, which means they're still visible to us and to him. Anyway, when Sundance reaches in with a hard-delete, he only does it with good reason of some kind. Chalk it up to his preferences from a board-business/maturity standpoint, try not to let it bother you, and just go forward. . . . .

If thats the case I have no problem with it but I just really dont think thats what it was. I mean I cant think of any reason at all why it would be deleted.
