Beasters are typically good weed that was either dried wrong, cured wrong, not cured at all, or both, resulting in a product that doesnt break up like normal weed, and appears very dense, and chewy. It also smokes bad, and you wont get as high because all of the water wasnt dried out of the bud, resulting in a loss of THC.
