look up the NORML chapter in your state or city, they may have a referral list of lawyers, that specialize in MJ cases ... :smokin:

The small number of plants is to your benefit. But you still need a solid attorney.
Be meek and respectful in court. Don't wear ANYTHING that smacks of thug- you may think you look like a dork but the DA and judge will think otherwise.
You may be able to get continued without finding/ pretrial probation. Follow any restrictions to the LETTER and learn from this experience.

Well, I'd assume they were outdoors since the "chopper" found them. In my area, I've noticed a lot of low flying helicopters in rural areas, no doubt searching for cannabis plants. I agree, definitely find a MJ defense attorney, NORML has a list, and like others have said, it really will make a difference.

But could you provide more details on what exactly went down?

I had choppers circling my house one time, scared the hell out of me. I grabbed the plants and put them under a beach umbrella until the chopper left, cut em' up, flushed them. And a month later the police seized the property based on it being a "drug house" (other factors were involved in the determination of it being a "drug house", such as my moms meth customers coming/going at all hours) I dont know if the plants had nything to do with the property being seized, but somehow they were able to seize the property without any arrests being made???
FYI I was not one of the tweekers.

me and a buddy had just started tearing his garden down, when the neighbor yelled for us to stop ... turned out, the chopper was looking for a kid that had wandered away from the campground :D
