I'm not sure where to post this, so I figured this was a good place. I know there are several people on this forum who are expert gardeners and who know a lot about growing all plants. to those people, i have a question. i just picked up a bunch of pepper seeds, but i have no idea how to start them out. i have grown other plants from seed using the moist paper towel method, but i have no idea how to start peppers out. any help would be great. thanks!

I soak my pepper and tomato seeds in water for a couple hours, then into soil ... :smokin:

A tried and true method for me is using a damp paper towel in a sealed jar (I put the seeds into a fold of the paper towel). It generally takes from one to four days for the seeds to sprout.
From there it's into rockwool or jiffy pellets.
Oh, I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I tend to keep the jar in a dark, warm area.
