Hey folks its my first grow im using a bucket system and am about 4 weeks in i had a problem with ph that i have got under control but whni filled res wit new water and put nutrients in the ppm went up to 1600 im using gh flora gro ,micro hardwater and bloom all from gh so where should my ppm be at my ph is at 6.9 im using 1000wtt mh if i need tolower how do i lower the ppm any help is appreciated.

is the water hard?How are you PH ing the water? Cause 6.9 is way high for Hydro.Hydro PH should be 5.6 to 5.9 the highest.How are you mixing your nutrients?Per say you are adding the micro to the water first.Then adding grow & bloom.What is the strength of the nutr?Need a little more info to be more help. PEACE

what is a good range for PPMs to be at around week 4 with some strong healthy plants?

The bigger the resivore the more stable it is. PLUS adding chems is a hell of alot safer. :thumbsup:
1 table spoon extra in 30 gallons aint much but in 3 gallons its plant hell. :wtf:

I'm runnin a 10 gallon rez using a drip system. My PPM is usually in the range of 650-750 my plants (4 of them) are 1 month old, and (2 of them) 5 weeks old. I still see slight yellow tips. I thought they would be able to take that much by now though?
