ok i'm a new grower and would like to know if what i heard was true or false. I asked a few growers if i can add flavor to my bud while i'm growing my plant and some said yes just by adding the flavor that you would like for example if i wanted a orange taste then i would put orange peels and let the soil take it in, but then i heard that adding flavor is something that you cant do because the plant has its own flavor and it would not take in any other flavors then the one that it naturally comes with.

So my 1st question: can flavor be added?
2nd question: if so then which flavor can be or can not be added?

Thank You

I've heard of people using Orange and Grapefruit to flavor their bud AFTER its done being grown and already harvested. They can take the wet buds and set them in a sack with a SHIT LOAD of orange/grapefruit peels and the 2 wetnesses sort of.... combine... and "flavor" it. But who would want that? I love the taste of straight dank. That taste when its so fresh, it feels like you have a fresh batch of laundry in your mouth, not in a nasty way though. I think you all know what I mean :p

Avoid gimmicks at all cost. They'll make you a lazy grower.

Don't take it from me. After a little bit of speculating subsequent my reply (doh!), I realized that manipulation plays a big role in cultivation. So disregard my previous post. Gimmicks = good, but lazy = bad, in terms of the amount of time & effort you put into your plants.
