Alright ...well im trying to make a bong out of a Jack Daniels Bottle...
and im about to drill a hole in the bottle but I cant find the tool to loosten the clamp that holds the drill bits in...
the problem is there is a philips head bit in it right now...
will that drill through the glass, or will it just shatter it?

Most drills you can hold the chuck thing. And put it in reverse and it should come right out. And you should probably use a diamond drill bit. Because it usually takes about an hour or two to get through that glass. It might just break if you try to drill it.
But if you decide to do it anyways. Make shure you go really slow and not get unpatient

It's called a "chuck".......the phillips bit will break that sure as hell. If you got a couple of lock-wrenches you may be able to open that up for a real bit.
Have a good one!

no a phillips head will not drill through glass......a diamonds tip bit is what i'd use...that thing is called a chuck key

some drills require the chuck to remover the bit. go to a hardware store. they should be able to help you get a new one for a couple bucks
