so i've been seeing a lot of people (including myself) that have signatures with hunter s. thompson quotes. i already know that everyone loves fear and loathing, but what other works of his moved you or inspired you or etc. one that i really enjoyed was the rum diary. really good story of time spent as a freelance writer for a newspaper in san juan during the rum boom.

yeah man, thompsons a genius. ever read hells angels? great book, really shows you inside the gang. also fear and loathing on the campaign trails was good, kinda long and boring, but very interesting. the rum diary was one of my favourites, im in the midst of reading vol 1 of the great shark hunt, its got some pretty interesting stories

You guys should try some Oscar Zeta Acosta, Hunter S's best friend, whom Benicio Del Toro's character in Fear and Loathing was based on. I suggest Revolt of the Cockroach People.
