vaporizer resin

well i got a vaporizer a little while ago and i was wondering what the best way to remove the "resin" in the whip. i was thinking either water and coffee filter or rinsing it with isopropyl and letting it evaporate. what do you suggest?

the directions say to use alcohol to clean it, then i guess you could evaporate it again or drink it depending on the type of alcohol, of course.
