it's about PM's... i know the reason we can't have them, but i'm curious...

is there no way they can be monitored? like at all? if they could, do you think then we could have pm's? for added security maybe make it so you have to have a crap load of posts (500-1000?) to be able to use it so you know it's not someone just spamming to get the pm service...

just wondering... i don't like beating a dead horse but i'm curious... and i'd realy like to see a way for pm's to be even a remote possibility.. (i really do dislike using outside messangers and emails, always have =/)

maybe even have one specific mod for the job of monitoring them... someone with alot of time on their hands (like me :D) and make the punishments for abusing it extreme... (month long to perma-bans?)

Logistically it's just not practical. We have to maintain our integrity as a place that doesn't enable hookups, even remotely, and the storage capacity for PM capabilities would be considerable for as many members as we have. I think Sundance has his mind firmly made up on that one, and I have to agree with him. Makes me shudder to think how much additional mod work that'd add to the load here!
