I just recently found out my high school friend(and then some) got arrested and charged with possesion and trafficking of marijuana.
Some neighbor of his told the police and his growhouse got busted:(
the plants were still so young. he was always the ambitous one so it was bound to happen.

Even if you had some "bad blood", if he gets prison time, you should write him about once a month. Everyone should be writing a pot prisoner. (Mine was released recently. :thumbsup: ) Most of us know someone who is serving time for a cannabis offense. Write them! Letters in prison equal a brief moment of sanity and normalcy in an insane system (any system that will treat you like a criminal for having the safer, but illegal, leaf in your cigarette is insane!). If he gets convicted, I'll send him a letter or two... I don't really know if he the kind of person that would appreciate it. he might think i am rubbing it in his face... lol

ohh my god... just in 3 months, i got 2 letters, and if i didnt get those 2 letters, ohh my god i would have freaked out and killed someone while sitting in the cells.... like my ex gf sent me 2(one didnt get to me, because she didnt put a return address on it... but i did get it when i got out of jail) and then one from my mom... and 2 from my aunt(i forgot about her letters until now....)

i think im gonna write a letter to my homie who i was bunked up with cause hes facing the same charges that i was facing... and i had to tell him strait up, were gonna be sitting in here together for a while... we better just become friends... and hes like yea lets be friends... cause 52 weeks is a long time to be fighting with each other... so i got out befor him, and he gave me his number and i know his address(cause he still hasnt gotten out of jail)

lol ^im sure if he was snitched on, they'll do something about it. It could have been just investigated...and they stung at the right time. I really don't know the details....

this was yesterday news..it's the least thing on my mind right now.
i figured certain people would like to read about people "ambitions" and "greed" leading to their arrests. that's it. i wasn't crying over anyone.. lol..
it's just sad that halfway across the same country, my friend would have been fine.

I'm sorry but selling cannabis is an extremely negative course of action in regards to the legalization/awareness of cannabis and the culture. For many reasons...

But if you're not aware of that then I'd be glad to enlighten you as to why it's bad...

I have been in the exact same position as you, except my friend got busted last summer, and he has a 5-day trial coming up in a week or so....

He says he found a loophole in the system and he has good lawyers so he thinks he's going to get off, but I he's facing 2 felony counts, so I dont know.

write him letters and call his cell phone and leave him voicemails, and if he has a myspace or facebook or what ever leave him lots of messages. A few of my boys are locked or have been and even though they can't listen to the voicemails while they're there, they can hear them when they get out and are usually touched (but won't admit it). I'm sorry about your friend, hon. That really sucks, but support him as much as you can. <3
