Seeking advice about a pipe

I'm going to be flying soon and I'd like to take my glass pipe with me. Think I would be good with just sticking in a pocket of say a pair of jeans within my suitcase? FYI I would be checking the suitcase as baggage, not carrying it on. I will be flying within the country.

On personal experiance, i have shipped my non clean bubbler and pipes in my jeans pockets in my CHECK IN BAGGAGE. This was from Uk - USA. I've gotten away with it, personally, no matter how much advice you recieve the decison always remains on your shoulders and the consequences wwhich may follow from your actions.

If your gonna do it you should clean it. Idk though, when I was an unacompanied minor on a late flight, I got taken through the security room by this nice lady and I asked her what this huge machine was. She said it was a scanner or something to check for drugs and weapons. But I am fairly certain that you could get away with it, I have gotten lots of things through airports, but nothing illegal, just suspicious things.

ive done it before, itll be fine if its in a pair of jeans in your non carry on bag... but reeferrogue's right, it doesnt matter what we say its up to you. because even though weeve had all these good experiences doesnt mean it cant go the other way, you might just be unlucky... not trying to change your mind, bbut theres always that chance

Alright I think I'm going to just clean it and put it in a pocket in my suitcase. I do have a few questions though. Should I clean it incase they stumble upon it? And if so, how can I most effectively clean it from your experience?

as long as it is clean so theres no marijuana resin in it then you should be fine as passing it off as a tobacco pipe.

1. Soak the pipe in rubbing alcohol overnight

2. When pipe is dry, pour salt in

3. When the salt is in the bowl, add some rub alcohol

4. plug up the bowl hole, carb, and mouthpiece with your fingers and swish the mix around for a min or 2

5. Dump out the shit (it will be brown and shitty)

6. Rinse it out with water
