does anybody know anyting about growing with the new T5 H.O. flourescent lights? I am thinking of growing with them instead of the hid because of the thermal camera's in the air! dont know how much heat you can get away with so I just dont want to chance it.And by the way nice light and good harvest to you. Newbud

hey spliffbuilder,nice lookin set-up you got there bro but i must say,keep an eye on your temperatures in your growspace as 600 watt light in a kinda small grow space will generate alot of heat which could become a fire hazard,my space is around the same size as yours and i had to return a 400 watt light and get a 250watt instead because it was way hot and dangerous,i would go to work and worry if id have a home to come back to because of the heat the fuckers give off,be safe bro-happy growin

cheers peep's....temp no problem,light on 72 deg,light off 58 deg..sweet..i've got a 5" extraction system,run off a 8" inline bell fan an a 10" carbon filter...no nasty smells leaving my growroom!!!!!! love an respect SPLIFFBUILDER...... PS. IF YOU TURN YOUR HEAD TO THE LEFT YOU CAN THE FAN AN PIPE'S IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER(PIC TAKEN SIDEWAY'S) :D :D

you will need so many of those new flourescents they'l drain your pocket along with all the fixtures you'l need. if your going flourescent ---use 48'' grow bulbs in double fixtures. get a variety of bulbs from actinic to red plant grow types, full spectrums and place them all tight together over and down the walls beside your girls. LOOK at these pics
