What are some of the good games out there worth buying?

I gotten Gears of Wars, and Call of Juarez (which is okay, but sucks compared to Gears of War)

I like all kind of games, especially shooters, strategy and sports.

For shooters, rainbow 6 vegas is a must. That's all i really play these days. Halo 3 will be out soon, gta4. Fifa 07 is fun. Madden. Assasins creed when it comes out maybe.

Dead rising and prey are nuts too. Gears of war is a given. Don't play condemned high unless you wanna freak out and start searching for people in the closet trying to kill you.

depends on what u like one of the best out there is the rainbow six vegas and the best i've seen and played to for the game of it would be oblivion
and there about to come out with two worlds witch is oblivion on roids from what i hear and it's online as well

Call of Duty 2 (tons of people still play it online, has a great campaign, and is definitely better than Call of Duty 3)
Rainbow Six: Vegas (Good first person shooter)
NHL 07 (If you're into hockey then this is a must buy)
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Good RPG that can keep you entertained for hours on end)
GRAW 2 (If you're into tactical third person shooters then this might be the game for you)

Gears is a must, Full Auto and Burnout Revenge are great arcade racers, I liked both of them a lot more than Forza 2. I liked Blitz: The Leauge more than Madden. The Outfit was good for $20. The Godfather and Saints Row were pretty good GTA-style games.
