Ok... so my friend comes home from college for the summer and has no bong.. since I have two bongs and Im a nice guy, i decided to let him borrow one. I let him borrow my pHx beaker duo and he ends up breaking the little nose peice. Being that its fixable we decided to take it to this local headshop called grateful j's. I leave it there to be fixed for 75$.
Then a few days later i get a voicemail from grateful j's head shop telling me that my bong was broken and that i could come in and see for myself where it was cracked or i could just call them and let know where to dispose of it.
I have a gut feeling that these people are gonna try and tell me that they dont owe me anything because my bong was broken in the first place...
It was not broken, only damaged. And if i had known that i was giving my bong to be fixed by idiots i would have never done it. I could have sent it out to Fort Collins for 50$ plus 20$ shipping to be fixed by ppl that have fixed many bongs for my friends..
What should i do? What should i say if they tell me that? I mean, do i call the cops on a headshop?
any opinions help
