Bump this thread if you belong or contributed (this last year) to any group or organization supporting legal change for medical marijuana or legalization in general.

you dont have to be 18??? at least you didnt used to?
back in the early 90's i was like idk 15-16 and i was the treasurer or our local (city) norml chapter.
and when i started up a NORML club at my local college i was 21 but a few of our members were still only like 17.

Of the folks who have viewed this thread so far, less than 10% have been able to bump it.
Not to pick on anyone in particular, because I understand everyone's situation is different, but it seems that our members (in general) don't really do much to support changing the marijuana laws.

I gave up on that dream 30 years ago.
We had our chance with Jimmy Carter...and they shot him down.

Jimmy Carter has not given up on any dreams. Why should we?
Everybody has the right to not get involved financially, but it seems irresponsible to me to poo-poo those who do...especially on a friggin' weed forum! And this is coming from the biggest curmudgeon since Dorothy Parker.
I just joined NORML 15 minutes ago, and sent what was left over to the BC3.
Bump...set...spike! Can anybody loan me some money?

FYI:
If you join NORML at the fifty dollar level they send you the ghetto style NORML t-shirt from cafe press, not the nice one from their store. Style mavens, BE WARNED, cafe press does not know how to silkscreen (at least in this case).

Are you joining just to get some stupid T-shirt, or because you actually want to help change the laws in this country? It's sad that in order to get people to send them money they have to offer a free shirt
I joined with ASA, thinking about setting up a monthly payment deal, just joined MPP's monthly, and NORML does have some kickass gear...but what exactly is so bad about cafepress shirts? I'd like to get a couple but just curious what issues you had.

Our NORML chapter is adopting an animal from the WWF (it's symbolic). But we're gonna try and raise more than the cost of the adoption (which goes to protecting habitats and whatnot) and donate the rest back to national NORML.
