In what ways are you a stereotypical stoner?

For me, I have long, feathered '70s hair, I dress either in '70s button-downs or in black band shirts, I'm in love with Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Doors, etc...I'm pretty mellow usually, I'm pretty creative, and I always come up with crazy shit when baked. I also hate The Man.

I think the most stoner thing about me is that i just shrug off all the little things. Like i just dont get mad im alot more chill. I think it was weed that really helped me realize that its not worth stressing over BS.

i'm very liberal, as are stereotypical stoners (although i leaned this way politically for years before i toked). i'm kind of clumsy, can be easily distractable. i like to think i'm creative and highly interpretive. i listen to a lot of typically stoner music (progressive rock and jazz, classic rock, buncha stuff). i love the idea of peace.

Heh, now that I think about it, I was able to go to work stoned quite a few times because generally I come across as being friendly, easygoing, and a little bit clumsy and forgetful even when I'm sober.

I've been thinking about the term "stoner". I think it has sort of a negative connotation, put on it by the system. The power elite put that on weed smokers to distinguish our group from that of just "druggies", but still have that negative feel. The word itself sort of means hitting yourself with a rock. But weed smokers generally don't really give a shit what label you put on them. If we were being called "buzzards" we'd probably go with it. Fuck the power elite.

Let's see...I keep a nice short fade, wear nice clothes...I like stylish button-ups and polos to go with tan colored carpenter pants. I keep an extensive sneaker collection for any occasion. I only play Madden and NBA 2k7 for video games, but it's very rare. Don't skate...but I play sports. I love beer and parties, and basically living life to the fullest. Tomorrow isn't promised, so I live for the moment at all times.

Very open-minded. Not ignorant, naive and close-minded about music...I'll take a listen to anything and respect other people's tastes no matter what I happen to think. I listen to music from the 60's to the present. 90's hip-hop is my love though, very passionate about her. Some shit in the 2000's is very good though.

So, yeah, I'm not a stoner. I smoke trees from time to time, but not a stoner. Never really knew about a 'stoner culture' til I came to this site...but I don't follow any cultures, just live the way that makes me happy. I live for 2007, not 1977.

First would be my deep, passionate hatred for the way we run our government. I can't stand corporate America. I have no attention span whatsoever (i can look straight at you while you're talking and not hear a word of it). Got the memory of a goldfish (can't remember shit past three seconds ago).
