View Full Version : Here's my dilemma:

Ok, I guess it's not so bad when your hardest decision in life (at the moment of course) that you are trying to make is which strains to purchase, where to purchase them from, and how to go about this somehwhat "seedy" purchase if you may pardon my pun.

So here is where I am:
I have decided to go with growshopalien, as they seem to have plentiful seedbanks, as well as decent prices. This will be my first seed purchase online, and I have to admit, the whole thing makes me a bit nervous and wary, but alas it is time to aquire quality genetics. I am almost done my first bagseed grow, and although it was a delight to see tiny seeds become wonderful buds, I feel as though this could be experienced ten fold with quality genetics.

So my choices that I have narrowed it down to are:

I have read enough threads to understand that Northern Lights is a pretty standard indoor plant, which is hardy and supposedly good for beginners, so I will give this a try. However, I do have plenty of gardening experience, and ran into very few problems with my bagseed experiment (once I got my pH pen actually reading the correct pH - I bought it brand new and it crapped out like right away). So therefore, I am looking to not only try some beginner stuff, Id like to try something superdankitydankity too.

So I was looking at Nirvana Jock Horror - a nice sativa for my garden. Anyone have any experience?

Also, Nirvana Aurora Indica? Experiences? It says it is probably their most potent indica. I definitely want to have the variety of a nice sativa, a nice indica, and a nice hybrid, as most of my friends do not know the differences between buds, and I am quite sure I could blow their minds.

I also really liked the sound of Nirvana's citral. Then I looked on Mandala Seeds, and I really liked the sound (and price) of Speedqueen and Hashberry.

Or then, I thought about just maybe getting an Indoor mix from nirvana, as well as from mandala. This way I would have variety, I dont know.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this obviously distraught stoner trying to fill his garden with delicious treats?!?!?!

PS - growing soil, 400 watt metal halide/HPS conversion........if you need to know that for some reason considering strains......

Any help will be greatly appreciated, and I may even cyber smoke you down

choose a Mandala strain of your choice, and don't look back (order it from Growshop Alien, you'll get your seeds) ... top-notch gear and cheap ... predominantly indica-leaning strains, so perfect for indoors, not much height, big yields, and shorter flowering times ... Mike Mandala has a great website, 'mandalaseeds.com, I think ... read all his growing tips and details ... the man has his stuff together ...

Here's your cyber smoke man!

Thanks for the reply man, Ok, I am gonna give this thread a night or so to generate some more responses, but other than that, I think I will go with Mandala's hashberry, speedqueen, and their safari mix for some unknown but still high quality spliffs. Again, thanks for the timely response bro, and I will post a thread when I begin my grow!

yea i would deffinatly go for mandala over nirvana. theres a forum where the breeders of mandla seeds talk to you and can help you through there genetics, which is very helpful.

International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums - Mandala Seeds (http://www.icmag.com/ic/forumdisplay.php?f=76)

Great Keeko, thanks a bunch. So, I guess it's gonna be mandala over nirvana, strange, because I have heard a lot of people say great things about nirvana, and have never really heard much talk of mandala. Well, I sort of browsed through Mandala, and I guess I will be making my order today. I am going to go with:

Hashberry

White Satin

Kalichacra

Sadhu

and Satori.

Anyone have any experiences with these specific strains? They all seemed so tantalizing that I just couldn't resist getting them all. However, if anyone has had a somewhat negative experience with any of these strains, please let me know!!!!

Again, thanks a bunch guys, this forum has not guided me wrong yet, and helped me successfully get through my first grow (well, almost anyway, still a few weeks yet).

PEACE!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!:hippy:
