Odd Weed

hey guys i just had a quick question about some weed i have.When i smoke it,it sparkles.It is kind of wierd and kinda scares me and makes me wonder whats in it.its good weed but as soon as it gets burned it like sizzles audibly and sparkles.,I have had shit like this before and i dont know why the hell it does it.It is only in quote on quote "dro". When i say that i mean hard compressed nuggets that peole say this is bomb ass dro man 15 a gram.It was only in good batches too,and they were from diff. people everytime i bought weed.Its not wet or anything im kinda scared to smoke it i kno its not laced with another drug cuz i just get a weed high from it i just dont know what im putting in my lungs:wtf: any feedback greatly appreciated

no theres no stems at all just nugs and its not brittle its perfect its just so wierd as soon as the lighter hits it it kinda sizzles and sparkles is the best way to describe it its not dirt weed with seeds either not a single seed

Sounds to me like someone forgot to flush their plants. I have never SEEN this phenomenon, but I've heard of it happening when there is too high a level of residual nutrients in the buds when they are cut- you are supposed to flsuh your plants' systems with clean water for at least a week, preferably 2, before harvest to prevent this.

i'm pretty sure stinky is right, because whenever i get a bud that tastes real chemically (which means it wasn't flushed properly or at all) it tends to do that sizzling thing. i dunno if it's good or bad though. probably not too bad, just not preferable, you know?

I've had similar before. If it crackles when smoked, it's because of over nut'ing when growing.

what about a high amount of crystals? that causes crackling too

yea thats what i was thinking it might be too and it doesnt crackle its more of like a sizzle the best way to describe it would be someone mixed in ground up chunks of flint(like u kno from ur lighter) but tehre is nothing like that it looks like normal bud

Ummm... actually it does sound like flint to me. But it could be the weed, because every now and then my weed will crackle and pop and shit. That usually happens when i spark the lighter up to close and flint flys on to the bow so when i light it, it sparks. I know its bad for the lungs so i dont do it on purpose. But if i do i like to watch it sparkle haha.

hmmm sounds to me like whoever was growing that weed was growing it in a metal bucket or something similair like a galvanized tub or something. One of my buddies had this happen and he was the one growing it so he was able to find out what caused it.

oh damn or what choppile420 said because i have had that happen too if you light the lighter right above the bowl some flint flys out and sparks and bounces around and the first time it happened i thought it was because of the weed but it was just me being a dumbass

There was a lot of weed a while ago in Britain that had microscopic glass bits in it, to make it look "crystally". I imagine that would burn funny too, and not be good for your lungs at all if you inhaled the red hot bits. I'd smoke it in a bong just to be sure.

Mine is doing the same exact thing. I personally think it's the crystals, because I know my guy can't fuck me. Besides all that, it could be a weird chemical or something, but it's still a good weed high so I don't know. I use a bong anyways, so if it is grit weed, and he didn't know and sold it to me, I know I'll get a refund.
