anyone have an idea of what is wrong with my plants if anything.

here are some pictures. They have red in the stems, and the older fan leaves are turning yellow. Well i chopped them off, i gave them a fert, and the plant liked it, all new foliage is a good color green. The older stuff didn't improve.

they are 30 days into flower.

Have you been foliar feeding? Because if you are, stop. You are getting salt crap on the leaves and anyway spraying when bud set is already advanced is not a good idea.

Your plants are hungry and need more food.

Suggestion: I grew successfully for years using fluorescent tubes, like yours, and, IF you have the room-width available, I strongly advise placing your lamps horizontally 1"-2" above the canopy ... I've tried both ways, and combinations, but horizontal is the way to go (actually, my favorite way, was to place the tubes, lengthwise, in an inverted-V pattern) ... :smokin:

the t12's are mostly for extra lighting.

most of my light comes from the 150 watt hps, and 85 watt cfl. So placing them over the plants is not an option because the other lights are there :-)

thanks stinky, Yes i have been follar feeding. my plants need a good bath right now cause the last time i follar feed was almost dark time, but the lights baked it on there :-(.

temps sit steady at anywhere from 78 degrees- 86 degrees during the day, and always low 70's at night. humdity is at around 30-40%

I gave them some normal fert with mirco nutes in it, 5-30-5 at 1/2 strength, so we will see how they react to this. I since the leaves i have picked off, i have saved them and let them dry, and then i crumble them up at the base of the plant, to use as a organic fert. Is this a good idea? i figured it couldn't hurt but who knows.

Dead crumbled leaves are not a great idea. I mean, if you think of the efforts farmers make to remove dead plant matter from their fields, in the case of strawberries even setting the fields on fire before planting time, you'll see why- dead leaves can at best rot, and at worst harbor and transmit disease and pest infestations.
Furthermore, the amount of time it takes for a leaf to break down and release nutes back to the soil even in the presence of beneficials, is so long as to be useless indooors.

Your temps and RH seem fine. A little warm but not unreasonable, and your day/night difference is within the preferred +/- 10 degrees range.

'rumor' has it, that decaying vegetation gives off a 'gas', or something, that attracts insects ... dunno how true that is, but nature does have a way of cleaning up after herself ...

Like the same gas that my dad gives off that signals he REALLY liked the baked beans? :D

bugs are not a problem my area is 100% bug free.

ya i figured the leaves wouldn't really help. Its only about 3-4 fan leaves which i did this to. I don't think it will hurt it in anyway, I guess if anything i will find out if it helps. As my other plant would be the control.

i have heard about adding molasses to the water, does this really help and if it does, when should i start doing it? I am about half way through flowering at 30 days.

put molasses into the SEARCH blank, you'll find stuff, in fact, there is an active Molasses thread going on right now, in this SAME category :D ... I just placed a link to Blue Bears' molasses contribution in there ... :smokin:
