Ok so my little bagseed that i planted outdoors is growing at a nice rate, it was just started late in the season. It is around 18 inches tall with nice green foliage. I was hoping to move my little friend indoors into my closet to give it a better chance of reaching its full potential. I was kinda tight on my budget and would like to know the best but most affordable bulb that i can just go to walmart to buy. I need to know the wattage also. The space available in my closet is about 2 ft. wide and around 6-7 ft. tall. i am just gowing to be growing a single stock, or jsut the main "kola". Like i said i need a nice simple answer and maybe a few suggestions to where to go to buy the supplies.

Thanx everyone for the help in advance!

Compact fluorescents are probably your best option, especially if you have lamps to put them in. A three-pack of the 100-watt equivalent bulbs would probably be a good starting point. I'm assuming you have lamps you can put them in, but if not, they're not expensive.

Why not a hybrid type of a grow? Outside during the day, and bring them in for evening light, and longer vegging. I've been doing this with four plants as a 'controlled experiment' with eight plants exclusively inside.

The outside plants, after seven weeks are a full ten inches taller with much a much healthier set of lower branches. The indoor plants are under an eight lamp bank of blue T5 floro's, with 65w cfl's on the sides...
