View Full Version : where to get a cheap cabinet?

I was going to build a cabinet(for a friend of course) but before I do I thought I would ask if anyone knows where I could pick up an inexpensive cabinet. approx. 3ftx3ft new or used. Otherwise I'm going into carpenter mode:jointsmile:

check yard sells or resell shops....im sure you could find something you can alter

yup, yard sales, garage sales ... don't ask Granny for her wardrobe dresser, or first visit, she will want to see it :jointsmile:

Ageeing with what everyone else said. Garage sale,Yard Sale,etc... find something good and with a little bit of handy work your friend should be good to grow.

Build your cabinet. As soon as it is finished, drive to the grocery store. You will then see two or three cabinets sitting on the street waiting for the trash truck. :D

go get some 1in pvc pipe from the hardware store with some 90 degree elbows. Make a square box any size, wrap it in b/w poly, and put a TARP ZIP-UP zipper on it for a door. Your done and you can make it any size and change the size in the middle of the grow.

Or some channel if it needs to be a little beefier. Same idea as with the PVC. You can also use it as a frame if you want to use wood.
