Very important message follows:

BBC2 tonight at 2100hrs (9 o'clock pm, in old money) is a docudrama that looks at the possible consequences of drug legalisation :D
Afterwards, there will be a debate with Jeremy Paxman.
The programme is called "If..." - part of a series of things like this...last time, they looked at social attitudes and stuff.

Anyways, do yourself a favour, and watch it...could make for some very interesting and informative viewing...

...Also, it will be interesting to see how well or not the programme makers know what they're talking about! lol
As it's the BBC, I very much doubt that there will be any biased opinion......

Yeah, and I've just got 2tons of weed in, for free!

I get a channel called the BBC America, but it's mostly just your sitcoms. Nothing to sink your teeth into, so to speak...well all except for Jennifer Saunders, of course. lol :)

wow that program was weird it was gd but the debate after was like 3 against 1 and a bit unfair. the presenter was a prick too.

the program was mroe about other drugs and they made sum good points on there but some of the points got sidelined with the "good cop bad cop" scenario lol, that program was designed to make ppl VOTE NO if there ever was a drug legalization vote.

I actually disagree, robert, I think that it was fairly pro-drug, and that the debate showed legalisation in a 'good' light.
The arguments against legalisation got shot down in flames on many an occasion, and the drug czar was made to look stupid - by his own doing, it has to be said lmao...

Check out the webpage
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/if/default.stm

I agree that legalisation shouldn't be gone into blindly, but I think that the benefits will outweigh the negative aspects, by quite a considerable margin.

i agree that it did have pro drug arguemnts but for every 1 pro drug statement there was 4 anti drug statement.

i actually agree with most things on that program its just certain things were blown out of proportion.

I agree that if all drugs were legalized Cocaine nad Heroin should still remain illegal and special places for addicts should be set up.

I think Marijuana should be leglaized 110%.

I dont take other drugs but i beleive that every1 should have the right to know what drug there takin. I also think makin em legal would help control organized crime it wouldnt stoop it but control it and that would b a good thing.

The program was gd it made good points. It was easy to get sidelined by the whole sci fi future cop thingy but points were made. But i think %60 of ppl watchin that would now VOTE NO. Because after the program on the debate(10pm) the bald guy (dont know his name) who was sayin to legalize drugs was gettin the piss took otu of him and they were laughin at him. when he was the man who made the best HONEST points.

Over all the way to fight drugs is to legalise them ann control them. PPl cac take drugs iin a controlled enviroments and safely (the safest way possible) IT WILL HAPPEN. Its just a matter of time.

The program was gd but the debate was ridiculed by alcohol guzzling old fashioned pricks in there suits with gray hair lol.

Oh also the program sidelined cannabis and went to hard drugs liek E'z and Ampthetimines maybe thats there way of acknowledging cananbis as a soft drug with not many dangers as other 'legal drugs' i hope so atleast.

hopefully we can get sum1 instead of takin 1 step forward 2 steps back :)
